Let's just hope this trailer didn't show all the action in the movie. I can remember the last Hulk flick having a great trailer, but then ZZZzzzzzzz *snore* once the actual movie started. Alright, so it wasn't that bad, but still... This movie better have more balls than the last one. Marvel owes us an awesome Hulk flick.
I do like this Hulk better though. We've come a long way with special effects in the last 5 years haven't we?

This does look great and hopefully it won't have the comic-book scenes like the first one.
Now, I know I'll get ripped apart for this, but why is the Hulk 10 feet tall? He's supposed to be 7 feet tall and in the trailer, somehow, his pants actually grow in proportion of his body.
When Emil Blonsky (before he turns into the Abomination) stands next to the Hulk, he could fit his whole body into the Hulk's one pant leg. It doesn't make sense. Why couldn't they just make the Hulk the same size as his comic book counterpart? Or even the TV series? He was still 7 feet tall in the series and still looked scary.
Sorry, it's a little thing I had to get off my chest.

Using the photo of Blonsky facing down Hulk, I've done the geek math and calculated the movie hulk to be about 9' 2". That's using Tim Roth's actual height of 5' 7" as a comparative measure.
Marvel.com tops the Hulk out at 8', so the movie Hulk is a bit taller than the officially stated size of the comic Hulk.
I personally like the huge Hulk. The TV Hulk was definitely too small and didn't feel much like the comic Hulk to me.

Well, Robbo, it would have been hard to find an 8-foot actor to play the TV Hulk. :-)
Marvel.com puts the Hulk between 7 to 8 feet tall and I remember a few years ago in the comics that the classic Hulk is about 7 feet tall.
With the TV Hulk, he was more believable. They didn't have the budget to show the Hulk's true height or strength and if they tried, the show probably would have looked stupid. (I'm sure we can all remember Wonder Woman's invisible plane.)

I think I enjoy talking about character heights more than talking about movies.
I always thought the Hulk's height was variable, depending on how angry he is. I liked the idea that sometimes he was just like a really, really big guy, but other times, he verged on being a city-destroying monster.
(The fitting in pants that he clearly can't fit in bugs me too. It just jars me out of the movie when they do that stuff. I figure it's the job of the writer/director/editor to keep me in the experience, even when things get weird. Find a way to make something work, but don't just half-ass it and then expect me to be forgiving. Ain't no room for excuses when your movies cost over 50 million dollars.)
