I hope they don't make Spider-Man into a dark person while he wears the black symbiote suit, like in the movie and the cartoons. In the comics, when he wore the black alien costume, he was still the same, happy-go lucky superhero. It would be nice to see that in Spectacular, but I doubt that.

I'm still looking forward to seeing it though.

Well, remember in the comics the black spidey's adventures were stretched out over a loooong period of time. Fans loved the idea and well, I would have to say they love Venom even more. We all knew it had to end sometime and it was just like Marvel to create something as original as a brand-new Spidey villain (perhaps the ultimate spidey villain). In TV land, as well as Hollywoodland, the stories have to be about as short as most of the actors' marriages.

In my opinion, and the opinion of many others', Spidey 3 should have been two movies. Well, here's hoping this cartoon version of the black costume lasts at least 3 episodes.

Well, Blind Justice, I don't think the black costume should be longer than 3 episodes, as you stated.

I also agree with you that Spider-Man 3 should have been at least two movies, or they could have written off Sandman. Sure, he was cool, but too many villians. They had a great villian like Venom, but how much screen time did he get? It seemed like less than 10 minutes and that wasn't justice at all.

They wasted time with Peter Parker doing a stupid dance as he walked down the street and that scene time could have been better spent on Venom. Hopefully the cartoon won't make the same mistake.
