Wha...? Fear and Loathing is a dishonourable mention?

Ok... Battlefield Earth is possibly the worst movie ever, rent it.

"Rat? You want delishous rat?"

I liked Spice World, didn't think it was that bad. I mean conceptually the producers need to be shot, but the writers and director did a good job.

But those be some crappy movies

The fact that Jaws-The Revenge is missing from this list means it is of dubious accuracy. :D

I dissagree with those choices:

Heaven's Gate was slow going but the last 45 min. was pure action.

Hudson Hawk- I liked and still do.

Man in the Iron Mask was good too.

I still don't understand such hate for the 1998 Godzilla. Sure, it wasn't Shakespeare, but it was a f--kin' monster movie. My son loved it, and I find it watchable--something I can't say about "Baby Geniuses" or "Grease 2."

I think this list is not judging on pure crappiness, but on how much a movie failed to live up to expectations.

It was an almost decent monster movie, I guess. My biggest complaint was the sheer stupidity of the military (that helicopter chase scene in Manhattan was moronic). That and the fact that it so wasn't Godzilla.

Oh yes, I most definitely liked the little fish icon on the military helicopter radar screen. I almost cried with chuckelicious bliss during that scene.

Gone in 60 seconds is on that list but Zoolander is not?

And yes Jaws the Revenge missing smells fishy.

Come on! How could a movie that features Ben Stiller as an idiotic monkey be in the worst 100 movies ever??! It's being truthful!

From the Dishonorable Mentions list... Eddie & The Cruisers II really deserves the #1 spot on the worst list but I ended up watching it one weekend between sessions with the last woman I dated so I really can't hate it.

What I don't get is that films that produced even worse sequels are on the list but the sequels are not. "Look Who's Talking 3" makes "Too" look like "Casablanca". Ditto "Problem Child 2". Where is "The 9th Gate", "Zardoz", "Jaws 3-D", The "Psycho" remake, "Basic Instinct 2", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"? And some of the choices on this list are questionable. "Natural Born Killers" was a terrific film that did a great job of satarizing the media and was unique for it's time. It is also probably the best performances Harrelson, Lewis, Downey, and Dangerfield ever gave. "Indecent Proposal" left every couple in 1993 asking each other if they could go through with that scenario and "Fear and Loathing", though only an honorable mention, has achieved cult status.

if you seen the the original ending it makes the movie better.

Kevin Costner was in Judge Dredd, was he? Lavoruis, we await the day when you make your posts more clear, man. Run-on sentences and not capitalizing certain letters like that make your thoughts very convoluted for us to read.. ;)

As for the lists above, it seems kinda fishy. There were definite popular films on that list that made headwaves and attracted either cult status or very popular reviews because of controversy.

There's quite alot of movies that are on the straight to video market or come and go in the theatres before you blink your eyes. Having some of these movies on the list while not having those obscure pure crapola films makes this list seem like a witchhunt from someone or some people at that site.

Just watching your satelite late at nights will show you obscure silly horror movies or cheesy dramas that aren't mentioned here in these lists but definitely deserve to be mentioned over some of the movies they DO have listed.

Digital Dream Door (http://digitaldreamdoor.com/)

Here's the website I got the list from. Godzilla 1998 was HORRENDOUS. I also hate Matthew Broderick more than any other living being, so maybe that's why I hate it so much, but it was probably just his non-acting.

Here's a serious question for all of you...

Was Harlem Nights a comedy, or a drama that cast comedic actors?

I've seen the movie a few times, and I'm still not sure. There are a few lines in the movie that I thought were funny, but for the most part, if they were going for laughs, then shame on them. Really, you would think they would have us peeing our pants with laughter having so many hilarious people in the cast, but instead, I was left scratching my head. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, I think, but I would've liked it better if I'd known what the hell was going on.

I think Harlem Nights was a comedy period piece. It definitely was leaning towards the risque/comedy side, but there was a bit of a gangster/30s crime drama feel to it.

I like it, there are some funny parts there and Red Foxx was by far the best dirty old man around :)

That's exactly what I mean, fastcar. Movies like that Manos probably deserve to be mentioned more then some of the movies on the list.

Hell, your avatar of Mystery Science Theatre speaks loads of all the shitty movies made today and in the past considering all the total crapola they reviewed with laughs. :)

I'm wondering where Digital Dream Door got these movies together from. Was it like Imdb's method of getting their lists together?

I can think of hundreds of utter garbage pictures I've seen while just browsing the trillion Encores, Starz, and Cinemax channels on the satelite at late nights. Especially in terms of "supposed" horror & drama movies....
