is finally here.

I was watching a commercial for some DSL offer and it hit me.

I suddenly realized that 30 years ago, I would not have had the slightest clue as to what the commercial was about or even understood some of the concepts. I am now in the future that I more or less imagined (the ambience, not the details). Cool.

We're not quite at where I thought we would be.

I can remember 5 or 10 years ago when I thought about the future I beleived there would be full on-demand for all kinds of entertainment.

While we are getting there, I still can't see any TV show, watch any video, or hear any song whenever I want.

YET. :)

Until I see flying cars being sold at the local dealership,
the future will have yet to arrive in the style of our imaginations. :romy:

There will NEVER be flying cars, and there shouldn't be. I mean, people can't drive as it is on the ground, can you imagine the carnage caused by cars falling out of the sky?

Probably .. but when I was 11 with lust coursing threw my veins, my next door neighbor really did look like Judy Jetson. Really! :wink: :) N
