quick thoughts? Looks like they are taking some ideas from the death scene of the black suit from Web of Spiderman #1 with the church bells.

Sandman looks cool, for that one brief scene.

All the characters look great, and looks like they're gonna handle Harry's transformation into Hobgoblin well. Again, CANNOT FREAKING WAIT!!! (my excitement may have something to do with the fact that I just watched Spider-Man 2 last night and re-realized how great a movie and series this is turning out to be!)

Totally man. S-M2 is freaking awesome, as was S-M1. I don't care what anyone else says.

I haven't watched the trailer yet since I can't get it behind the firewall here at work but I do have a general comment about S-M3 to make.

While Sam Raimi had expressed his dislike for and vowed never to use Venom and was probably extremely displeased when he was overridden by Arad and Friends, I think S-M3 will fare a lot better both creatively and monetarily than X3 for retaining him.

Actually, after watching that trailer, I'm beginning to think that

they're just using the symbiote stuff in this one to set up Venom for the 4th movie. 3 is probably going to be a HUGE cliffhanger.

Some rumors (one from a "trusted" source) states that there will be 4 villains in this one, but he/she never said they would all be front and center in the movie.

I think Sandman and Harry/GG2 will be the main issue here and Venom will be set up in the background for the juggernaut film that Pt 4 could become.

The 4th baddie? Never reveiled, but I put money on Conners/Lizard. Raimi already set him up in pt 2 with the missing arm.

Saw it in the theater a few days ago when I went to see Supy.

From the look of it we might get the Spider-man movie we've all been waiting for!!!!:wink:

I love the end of the trailer / with Spidey looking in the window! So errie and great!! If the trailers any indication this film is goina be a Spidey-lovers dream :lol:


I hope I'm right / it definitly seems to have the darkness to it.

'Spider-Man' Cast Called Back for Reshoots

Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco are being called back to the set of Spider-Man 3 for re-shoots, after test audiences complained the movie was lacking in "action." Franco, who plays Spider-man's alter-ego Peter Parker's troubled friend Harry Osborn in the superhero movies, has just finished filming comedy drama Camille with Sienna Miller. He tells MTV, "The next thing I'm shooting? Re-shoots on Spider-Man... Probably next month. Director Sam Raimi wants more action." The sequel also features Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Oscar nominee Thomas Haden Church in new roles.

How could a Spider-Man movie not have enough action? Don't people care about character development? I mean, Peter has to deal with what basically boils down to a split personality in this one, why can't there be a good focus on the characters? I'm sure it'll do fine, probably breaking SM2's opening day BO record.
