Have you ever laughed so hard, you felt like you were gonna
go dizzy from lack of oxygen to your brain?
That's been happening to me within the last year,
and sometimes it scares the hell outta me.
It's almost like I'm about to pass out or something.

Should I be worried? :ohwell:

There was a couple of times where I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath, just starting choking and guffaws of laughter at the same time. That got more laughs from the family around at the time and even I was laughing at that fact but afterwards I wondered if I wasn't just a tad bit worried as well thinking about laughing to death. I guess it would be a nice way to go, after the fact.

Naw, don't worry. Some people would pay for that kind of rush.

I only worry when I start to laugh so hard I snort, and then people laugh and point at me.

Actually, Traz, you may want to get it looked at. My brother used to have sleep apnea (this is where the air passages are somewhat blocked, causing him to fall asleep almost anywhere at any time) that required surgery. Now while it might not be something as severe as that, it's better to be safe than sorry.

I recently had that same experience, Traz. It's nice to feel it from time to time. Only happens when I get caught offguard by something unplanned and genuinely, ridiculously funny like when I recently saw a video of Nirvana at the VMA's. They're about to go all punk and destroy the set when Kris throws his bass up 20 feet in the air only to miss it with his hands completely (I'm laughing out loud typing this right now!). He takes the heavy end in the face and goes down for the 20 count only to get up and stumble around like a boxer who just got his ass knocked out while Dave and Kurt are tearing up their amps, drum kit, etc.

Not to pimp my job, did he try to treat it instead of having surgery?

If you don't mind me asking. I have OSA myself and I use a CPAP.

And to be On Topic. I have laughed so hard, I threw up a little from the coughing fit that ensued (due to asthma. Thank Bob for Advair.)

Well, he had enlarged tonsils (as the main cause), so surgery was needed to remove them.

Yeah, that'll do it. My sister in law is having hers removed. She's 36.
