Stone carvers are notorious for their sense of humour, ST, which is one reason why studying cathedrals facinates me.

They carved an image of Darth Vader into Washington Cathedral to represent the 20th century after a children's competition:-

But I have a gargoyle, which sits on my desk, from one of the DC stone carvers which is an image of The Devil carved as the likeness of his boss!
