Kenneth Lay, 64, ex-CEO of Enron, died last night of a massive myocardial infarction (613-347-2482) (say that 5 times fast) in Aspen.
The man who was responsible, at least in part, for the demise of so many families has himself been removed from this mortal sphere. Some may call this unfair, that Lay should have languished in a cell, but I find this more appropriate. :D

My sympathies go out to his family whether or not he was an ******* and I'm certainly not going to sit here and feel vicariously cheated for all the people he ripped off because he didn't do jail time. If they choose to feel that way, so be it but the guy's dead at a relatively young age. I think that's punishment enough. The legal system didn't get him, ultimately, but Yahweh, God, Allah, Buddha, Shiva or whoever you believe in or a massive heart attack did. Them's the breaks.

I believe in karma......I guess he didn't.

I do admit, there is a certain feeling of righteousness in him being laid low, poetic justice and all that, but I do feel sorry for the family. I'm not completely inhuman.
