Rest In Peace, Señor Montalban. Thank you for teaching me that courage lies with a man who has the guts to say no to a fast food restaurant and eat a salad instead. To say I will eat this salad with pride. I don't care if I look like a gay person. So to all of you salad eating homosexuals I say thank you.

He always seemed like a classy guy. He certainly made "rich Corinthian leather" sound like something to aspire to.

I will always appreciate the guy's consummate approach to acting of giving the part every last bit of blood, sweat and tears. Whether it was as a performer in a musical, as Mr. Rourke on Fantasy Island - still one of my favorite shows from my childhood - or as probably the best science-fiction heavy of all time in Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan. I've seen that movie probably 30 or 40 times and his performance still gives me chills.

A great actor, a great pitchman and a great representative and advocate for Spanish-speaking people. He will be missed.
