PS3 Price Drop!

Finally! Sony has announced *a few days ago* that the PS3 will finally get a price cut! Nothing is set in stone just yet. However, Sony claims it will be "At least USD$100 cut" from the original price. There was no reason given to why Sony is lowering the prices. But most people know that said console has been getting some really crappy sales. I guess Sony hopes this drop will get more sales. You can read everything here on the PlayStation blog:

I think the price drop, plus the upcoming slate of PS3 games like Uncharted 2 really is going to push a lot of people who currently are on the fence towards PS3.

A decline in prices may be temporary, Sony's strategy may be the first recovery of funds, if dropped, then, Microsoft and Nintendo may drop their video games prices::D
