I'm really into this show now. I hope when the CW starts next fall The powers put it on the Schedule.

Watching Supernatural too. Although, I can't brush off a X-Files feeling, it doesn't prevent me of enjoying the show. Like the brothers' relationship!

Yes, Monic, I also feel the X-files bubbling through, but it's not trying to act like X-files, either.
I enjoyed the pilot, lost it in the shuffle of moving, and have since caught up and totally dig the show. It's one of the 4 network shows I watch...er..okay, six if you count sitcoms.

Supernatural is among the better shows out there, IMO.
The growing development of the brothers,
their search for their Dad, and the crazy stuff they get
themselves into so fearlessly.
Instead of seeing scenarios like,
"Dean? You go down the well first."
"What do you mean I go down? You go down big shot."
They bicker over typical brother crap
while both go down the creepy well together.
That's just awesome.

One reason I like the show in comparison to The X-Files is that they KNOW the shit's out there. Plus the conspiracy bullshit isn't a factor.

Yeah! I'm deeply amused by the show, but scared of its VERY hardcore fan following that I have found. ;;>.> It's well on its way to being a cult show, if not already. Check out my livejournal for the scaries...There are over 700 people on the Supernatural livejournal fan community! Not bad for a show barely through its first season. Half are these scary fangirls though...fangirls *shudder*

I love this show. It is fantastic. The relationship between Sam and Dean is great, and they bring in some different story concepts like the fertility god in the orchard. It's always dark and grimy, but I love a grim show.
Great stuff.

Watch Supernatural when it moves to Thursday, erg.
It's on the fence:

hysterical. The look the brothers gave each other when they first

Last night's show made me horny.
I'm confused about "The Gun," though. There's The Gun, and there were 13 rounds. There's, what 6 or 7 left? Did they all get loaded into The Gun before dude got munched on? If not, where are the rounds? Do you need them, or will any old bullet work with The Gun? It sounded like you needed both The Gun and The Bullets to kill "anything."

Did you guys see the season finale?
Spoiler-
EVERYBODY FREAKIN' DIES!!! What the hell were these writers thinking?
Did they suddenly give up on getting picked up for a second season and
decide to kill off one of the coolest shows to come around since Angel??
The Winchester boys are in their car, bleeding and beaten up as usual,
arguing as usual and trying to find where to go next, and suddenly
without any warning out of flippin nowhere this SEMI just PLOWS into them like a bat out of hell, totalling the car and everyone in it!
And I REFUSE to believe that anyone could have survived that crash.
NOBODY. And of course, the demon-possessed truck driver has the last
laugh at the end. Which to me is the PERFECT ANALOGY representing
all of the Hollywood execs who senselessly kill off great shows that
don't match up to the Christmas bonuses they want in their pockets.
And the idea of execs killing off shows like that trucker killing off the Winchesters is a perfect example! It could NOT have been better demonstrated on television. <CAPS LOCK ON>
I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF REALLY GOOD SHOWS THAT I FALL IN LOVE
WITH AND BECOME A FAN OF THAT GET AXED BY EXECUTIVES WHO
KILL OFF AND SACRIFICE SHOWS THAT ONLY DO MODERATE BUSINESS
AND ALL FOR THE SAKE OF PUTTING OUT SHOWS THAT PERFORM ON SOME
RIDICULOUS "AMERICAN IDOL" LEVEL.
TELEVISION SHOWS ARE NOTHING BUT LOTTERY TICKETS TO THEM!!!
NOTHING BUT THAT!!! NEVERMIND THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY GIVE THE
TIME OUT OF THEIR EVENINGS TO WATCH THE SHOW. NEVERMIND
THAT WEBSITES ARE DEVOTED TO FANSHIPS FOR THESE SHOWS.
NEVERMIND THAT THESE SHOWS DELIVER ON A LEVEL THAT FAR EXCEED
THAT OF THE PATHETIC SHITCOMS THAT GET POURED DOWN OUR THROATS
EVERYNIGHT! NEVERMIND ANY OF THAT!
DAMMIT! I AM JUST SO SICK AND TIRED OF THIS!!</CAPS LOCK OFF>
And you wanna know why this happens people?
These demon-possessed Hollywood Execs have more than lost touch
with reality. They've lost touch with what the public really wants.
They have no clue. It's a freakin' guessing game with these people.
Sure. They know how to hob-nob and do power lunches.
They know how to work to get the right people together to do a job.
Though even for that point, it's questionable.
As far as running the business side of things, it's all well and good.
But my goodness! Does it take a good whack with a mallet on their heads
for them to see a good thing in their hands when they have it?
Are Neilsen ratings the ONLY barometer they judge these shows by
to determine if it's worth their time and money?
I challenge that! Especially when I truly feel the Neilsen ratings are a load
of absolute and ill-representing BUNK.
And guess what folks? Guess what these fine idiots are working really really
hard to replace Supernatural with- another freakin' mindless teen-filled
soap-opera drama that's been done to death a hundred times over
on a hundred other television stations.
Do we really need another Felicity-Dawson's Creek-One Tree Hill-Beverly Hills 90210-Melrose Place knock off? Do we really need to know if another
relationship from some smart alecky guy/girl works out at the end of
each episode, only to discover adultery-drugs-backstabbings and doubts
of commitment at the end of it all for their troubles?
Smallville, as cool as it is, seems way too soap opera-ish for me.
And I promise you that you could fit everything that happens in one episode
of Smallville into less than half an hour if you finally got all the actors to
FINALLY SPEAK FASTER THAT COLD KETCHUP OUT OF A BOTTLE.
Damn do those people speak slow. If they spoke any slower, they'd have to put the ominous letters To Be Continued... at the end of every episode.
If I sit down to watch Smallville again, I wanna see Clark suit up-fly and get
to work. I guarantee you the entire next season will be about Clark mulling
the idea of putting on blue and red tights and a cape to fly in. And the next season will be about him wondering if he can master changing clothes in a phone booth. Of course, those land mark moments are too precious to show
on television. You need TWENTY-FIVE FREAKIN' EPISODES TO BUILD UP TO ONE MOMENT OF GROWTH TO BECOME SUPERMAN FIRST. I mean really,
just how many seasons did it take for him to finally get to the Fortress of Solitude? Talk about milking this cow till there's no sense of moisture to be found in the poor animal's pruned up teats.
I personally have NO faith in the merger with WB and UPN coming up for
this coming Fall. None whatsoever. It will bomb. It will be paltry and
and suck blind man's tickets to see Mummenschanz.

Ummm. Trazzy-baby...XD Read my community link.
Or this: From mediaweek:
The WB, as usual, stood well above last-place UPN with dramas Smallville (Overnights: #5, 3.2/ 5; Viewers: #5, 4.44 million; A18-49: #4, 1.9/ 6), and the season-finale of the compatible Supernatural (Overnights: #5, 2.8/ 4; Viewers: #5, 3.83 million; A18-49: #5, 1.6/ 4). Although nothing has been officially announced, expect Smallville and Supernatural to occupy upcoming The CW’s Thursday line-up next season.

That was one mindfuck of a season finale, though. I totally dug it.
I do agree with you, though, Trazzie -- I don't see how, either, but I guess they've got something in mind.
Really, I thought that capping Daddy with the Colt would've been a good season finale, and set up lots of tension next season, but oh well.

Finally sat down and watched this (had it on tape) after missing last week's episode....I liked it, but it was also fairly predictable. I kept calling out what was going to happen about 5 minutes before it did happen. As for the end..
Did anyone notice that the truck driver was their dad's friend from back at the cabin? Also, if that symbol that Sam put on the trunk of Dean's car prevented demon's from entering (remember the "demon lock box"?), why not put that symbol on your body and prevent demons from entering? Seems like a logical use for such a powerful weapon against possession.
But maybe I'm thinking into this thing too much.
One of the things that really bugs me about the gun is the bullets. Can they not make any more bullets? Is the gun essentially useless after the magic bullets are used up? What gives? Why didn't anybody do a little bit of research (like they've done in every other episode) into getting/making more bullets for the gun?
The 2nd season really needs to pick up the pace (storywise) just a bit if I'm going to continue watching.

How about a show called Supercraptual.
The Traz brothers set out to hunt down demons who have possessed key figures in Hollywood and the television industry. As they exorcise and banish the demons back to their own dimension, originality and creativity is slowly returned to the entertainment industry.
In the back of their minds they know that the demons are just puppets bowing to a superior power. An evil so wicked, that it will take all their strength and perserverance to destroy it. That evil is Michael Bay.
