Since Syd passed away, I thought I might create a poll for
the most favorite albums by Pink.
Simply choose the ones you like the most.

(you should be able to choose more than one. Unfortunately, I can only choose up to ten items, leaving me to choose the more popular, yet excluding the more obscure.)

PLEASE include others outside this list you wanted to vote for.

I really have a lot of sentimental value tied to Wish You Were Here. My best friend's brother was shot and killed on my 17th birthday. We spent the next 2 months listening to that album and getting shitfaced.

Whoa... umm...

I just really like The Wall. Dark Side and Wish are also very good.

I really dig all three of those but Momentary Lapse of Reason was my first exposure to Pink Floyd (it came out when I was 11) and opened the door to the rest for me so it will always have a special place in my heart.

My favorites are Dark Side and Wall, but I'd place either Gilmour era release over Final Cut and Animals.
Additionally, I prefer the "new" Floyd to Rog's solo stuff.

Dark Side of the Moon is theeeeeeeeee best. Doris Troy back-up vocals are
out there.
Also like Ummagumma and Saucer Full of Secrets.

Dark Side is a pure classic (agree with Nos on the great backing vocals), but I have a special fondness for "Wish You Were Here."

Tape deck?! I had a record player!
Oh, okay, by high school, I had a cd player and...oh....5 or 6 CDs.

Yes well on my 8-Track, I could hear 4 songs at once so Dark Side could sound spaced with or without stimulants. :D

I voted for "The Wall," because of all of their albums, I never got tired of it. "Dark Side of The Moon?" If I NEVER hear that again it won't bother me. One too many listens, I'm afraid.

Wish You Were Here was the first Pink Floyd album that I heard, and therefore, it has a guaranteed place on my list. Animals is another favourite, as well as Ummagumma outside the poll - that one has a very special meaning for me.

The Dark Side Of The Moon is definitely a classic, but not in my personal Top Three.
