This fall on CBS - begins Sept. 20th.

Normally, remakes are a bad, bad idea.

The trailer for the new Five-0 looks very promising and I am looking forward to this. It looks like they are paying close attention to the source elements that made the original a beloved classic.

We'll see!

Three episodes in and I genuinely enjoy this show.

I gave it the three strikes, you're out treatment. We dutifully watched the pilot because my husband and his company did some post work on it. I was bored to tears. I did not care about any of the characters, the plot was not exciting, and there were no twists of any kind. There was one cool stunt and a couple of chuckle moments in the dialogue, and that was it. This series stars two actors who I KNOW can act. I'm seen 'em do it in Lost and BSG. Yet they have nothing to do here except say typical lines of dialogue and look cute. I'm done.

I like the old show, so it's a bit of a hard sell for me to begin with. I haven't given it a try yet. I don't recognize the guy that plays McGarrett, but I do recognize Scott Caan, who I'm guessing is supposed to be Danno...seems like the star of the show should be a bigger name that the sidekick! :D

It's brilliant series. I have seen the whole series. All episodes of this show are fantastic.
