Not to lose sight - since I did lose sight - of the collaboration attempt between some of us, I do still think that project is a good idea, life just kinda got in the way. KV - expect me to start harassing you about it again soon:D

The past week, I've started to feel the urge to write bubbling over again and I've been soaking up a lot of reading material and I'm trying to organize my thoughts.

This is a small series project I've tinkered with for the last year or so and I wanted to share the short intro to the series so far.

Yes, it's Trek. 24th Century. I've set this pretty much at the time Voyager comes home. But it's going to end up being a lot more than that. Hope you like - feedback welcome.

Okay- apparently it's too long to post here - 10,000 characters my....

Anyway, I've posted the whole thing on my My Space site. Check out the blog if you want to take a read. :D

I really like it, Kaeos, especially the way you've connected characters to past series. You also weave in the backstory very well, without interrupting the flow of the main plot too much. Plus, a captain who speaks Klingon? Very cool.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I began to write a story about space, the final frontier. I started by telling you about the first voyage of the star ship Destiny.

Captain Burgess and his crew, some familiar faces among them, have been thrown violently off course. Many starships in the Federation fleet have found themselves picked up and moved to strange new worlds, new galaxies, new places, far from home. If you missed Chapter 1, you can read it here (http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=91435689&blogID=151464755&MyToken=cb6d4390-a1aa-4046-ba63-5013ef7c6b1b)

Now I am ready to show you where fate has dropped the crew of the Destiny and with a little luck, we'll find out just how far, far away they have gone....
