I've watched the first 3 episodes, and I liked all of them. This show might just be good.

I agree. It's lots of fun and the some of the characters have potential for some interesting developments. I like that some of them are not what they appear to be or have other "talents" than the jobs that they are doing.

My dad was the art director on the pilot episode. Unfortunatly he didn't get hired back when it was sold. It's flimed up here in Vancouver. The pilot was filmed on Vancouver Island.

I watched some dailies, but that's all I've scene of it. It looked pretty cool. My question is how does the series continue? The pilot seemed too self contained.

The first episode was actually the first two shows. They went from the first episode to setting up the rest of the series. It was done well.

I agree, it was done very well. I like the touch of humor, kind of like Northern Exposure meets Fast Eddie while driving through Twin Peaks. Of course this time of year I'll give any new episodic tv a chance, but this really seems to deliver the goods Great characters - love the gung-ho lieutenant, and the guy that runs the dinner. I'm hooked.

I agree, i think Eureka has potental, now all that is left is for SCFI to give it half a chance to root itself & develop a fanbase.

I've watched all the episodes so far. Uniformly excellent. This might be the best kept secret on TV, "Eureka," I mean. It is the cast and characters that have drawn me in. I just love Henry, he is just too cool. Everyone else "fits," too. They've got that chemistry that separates the mediocre from the good.

Count me in as fan. I've been watching since the pilot and I still like it a lot. I am still slightly bothered Matt Frewer's Aussie accent. It seems a tad unnecessary to me. Frewer is weird enough as it is.

He was awesome on ST:TNG as the time travelling thief. Did he get nominated for an Emmy for that? If not, he should have been. As for the Aussie accent, that is such an obvious reference to "The Crocadile Hunter," that it is funny for not even pretending.

The emmys are a joke, only a fraction of the actors that actually deserve to won actually do, the rest never even get a nom.

This show is awesome. We just finished the first season on DVD. Now, we just watched the first episode of the new season.

I just wish Captin tight pants would have gotten the role of Carter.

Is anyone else watching it still?

I'm still watching.

I actually glad that Nathan didn't get the lead. I like him as an actor and all, but this role needed someone with a little less bravado and a little more self-depreciating humor.

The guy that plays Carter is good. He has the face for all the quips he throws out.

Glad to see that someone here is still watching it.

When this show first started, i had my doubts. But after seeing a few episodes, including the pilot, i changed my opinion. It certainly is a good show.

i just watched two back to back shows yesturday, what happened to Matt Frewers Jim Taggart character? I remember him chasing the dog in the pilot, he reappeared every once in a while just to say "Hi, I'm still acting" durring the first season, but has he officially gone from the cast now?

also the same is true about Deborah Farentino (Beverly Barlowe) is she officially gone too?

Taggert was just in an episode with his geese. Not on as much as he used to but comes into play every once in a while.
