Damn. I just saw Enduring Love and decided he was a good choice. Oh well, plenty of fish in the sea.

My money's on Michael Caton-Jones. A Brit journeyman with a track record of serviceable thrillers. (Not that I'm actively pulling for him or anything, just looking at the Eon hiring pattern and making an assumption).

Hmmmmm...... Memphis Bell was OK, but he also did Basic Instinct 2 and The Jackal. Surely he needs hanging for crimes against cinema ?

I'm sure Basic Instinct 2 would have sucked even if Orson Welles had been directing. And he really can't be held accountable for Richard Gere's Irish accent... can he? (Let's not also forget that before he did Goldeneye Martin Campbell's most high-profile movie was that turkey No Escape.)
