As luck would have it, the only channel I am not getting right now on my TV is USA. My parents aren't getting it either! So tonight, in order to see Andre Agassi play in the 2nd round, we went to the Air Force base and watched the game on a big screen in one of the airmen's dorm's day-rooms. What an amazing match! It went all 5 sets...the "bad guy" (anyone playing against Andre in this tourney is gonna be the bad guy) Bhagdatsi(?) got major leg cramps and could barely finish the match. I don't knwo how Andre pulled it off. I've watched a lot of tennis in m day, but this match was one of the best I've ever seen. Anyone here interested in tennis?

I love watching tennis. Especially Andre. I have been watching him play since '87. I am sad to see him retire. But, your body can handle so much abuse. I read on line that he could barely move after the first round because of his back. He went and had some shots to help the pain. He said the pain is worth it. I hope he can make it far in this. But, if he wins round three, I think he plays a kid that is ranked 112th. Then he may face Roddick. I don't think he can win if that happens.
It will be interesting to see if his and Stefi's children grow up to become tennis pro's.

Well, Andre lost today to Becker. When he made his speach it brought tears to my eyes. He played his heart out today. You could tell by the way he was playing that he was in a lot of pain.
It was fun watching you play all of these years Andre. Look forward to watching your children if they grow up and play.

It was a sad day yesterday. The crocidile hunter Steve Irwin dies in a tragic accident, and the career of my favorite tennis player of all time ends. He looked so hurt out there on the court, but he still made it a good match. His speech at the end was sad, but it was surely his time to leave. He really did mature over the years. I remember when he used to cry over every call, curse (sometimes not-so-under-his-breath) a lot, and basically just be an arrogant punk. He's gone from that to elder statesman of the game, and during that time earned my respect. You'll be missed, old boys.

Will anyone be able to beat Federer? This guy is amazing. Roddick made it interesting for a little while, but then Roger took over and made it look easy. All in all, a very entertaining US Open.

Yeah it was a good one. Roger will be hard to beat. Three years in a row to win the Open.
Did you see that he and Tiger Woods are like friends and he was there rooting him on? #1 golfer rooting for #1 Tennis player. Awesome.

actually I heard it was because they are represented by the same agency. Still, I imagine two of the greatest individual sports stars probably have alot in common. Although I am sure Tiger's bank account is slightly bigger. :)
