Sounds like a lot of cool stuff happening. Personally, I'm looking forward to Whedon on Runaways (though I hope it doesn't go bi-monthly like Astonishing X-Men, that would suck), Straczynski working on Thor, and the whole Spider-Family idea sounds pretty cool. I'm interested in this World War Hulk event, I just hope it isn't tied to Planet Hulk or else I'm gonna have a lot of catching up to do!

Hey!!! This is wikkid kewl! May b Runawayz will get a line lik ":what happenz 2 a toad when it getz hit by lightning? The same thing dat happenz to everyting else!"

I kid! I kid! I actually think Whedon could do really well in the comic book medium. His writing is much more suited to longer-term, more serialized stories.

Planet Hulk isn't a hard event, but i think World War Hulk will be what happens when Big Green finally returns. He'll want revenge against Richards, Stark, and the rest of the illuminati, and cannot imagine what will happen in the interim.

Well, he has been writing Astonishing X-Men for over a year now, and he wrote Fray, and the Serenity tie-in series...and a few issues of Buffy. So yeah, I think he has been doing okay in the medium for the last couple of years now.

Glad to see that Marvel is letting JMS run with the Thor storyline he started in FF. Some damn good stuff for those of us who liked the old-school Goldilocks.

Well, there you go. I just don't follow comics.

Whedon's got Michael Ryan (New Excalibur, Mystique) is the artist, and he's consistant and his art gets better over time.
