It's great being a Lions fan, isn't it?
Tip for everyone: pick the Lions to win their last game if it will ensure they do not get the #1 draft pick next year. That's just how we roll.:OhWell:
See, I told you so! Now if only I'd taken my own advice, but I thought the Cowboys would make an effort, since the game meant something to them. Now I can laugh as I watch them wash out in the first round. America's Team, my ass.

We're also going to see if we can pick out the playoffs and the superbowl winners week by week vs before the playoffs begin. People are free to change their overall playoff racket as the playoff games come closer.
I think we should just pick week by week, since second and third week matchups change according to seedings.

Basically, I picked every game scenario I needed for me or friends to get into the playoffs....And those scenarios worked for me so 14-16 it was. :D
This week, I'm going with the same rationale.

Honestly, you're picking Dallas when they couldn't even beat the Lions to improve their chances of hosting a playoff game? Whatever.
Saturday January 6th
Kansas City at Indy
Dallas at Seattle
Sunday January 7th
NY Jets at New England
NY Giants at Philadelphia
Really, I was about to flip a coin to pick Giants/Eagles, but I have to go with home field and the longer winning streak. It should be the best game of the weekend.

My sister is the one hurting about the Dallas game. That's her team...and I was in shock watching that fieldgoal get bobbled...
My team has been the Chiefs since '87 so I still got affected Saturday..but oh well, I had a feeling Indy would win. I'm hoping Peyton gets that ring now...He deserves one.
It would be funny to see Jeff Garcia go all the way too while they're still playing Donovan McNabb Chunky Soup commercials.

can't believe they botched that fieldgoal. I blame my friend. She's a Bengal's fan, and right before the kick I said they just need to not mess up and she brought up the Bengals missed XP against the Broncos.

These look like some really good matchups. Will newbie playoff QBs Rex Grossman and Philip Rivers stand up to the pressure? I say nay and yeah.

Much as I want otherwise, I really, really, don't think that Peyton and Co completely have the New England monkey off their back.
So, I pick the Pats. Though I really hope I wind up wrong.
And Saints. Cause that'd just feel good, and turn the Pats into ultra villians when they beat them.
Give me Indy and the Bears. I don't really believe they are going to win (either of them) but I want them to, so I'm just going to go with it.

Neither the Colts or the Pats are as good as they were last year but Indy is closer to where they were. And, yeah, Da Bears are going to the Super Bowl unless the Saints pull off the most unexpected win ever. I won't call it an upset, though. Da Bears aren't that good; I just expect New Orleans to choke.

Well, I knew as soon as San Diego gave the ball back to Tom Brady with 4 minutes left that they would lose. However, it seems to me that Indy (especially the defense) is playing more inspired, so I'm picking them. (Although I never count out Tom Brady, a NE win wouldn't surprise me.)
I still think Rex Grossman will choke. New Orleans' offense is extremely well-balanced, and if Chicago almost lost to Seattle, with Alexander slowed and Hasselbeck still not looking 100% in rhythm, they won't keep up with Brees, Deuce, Bush, et al.
It's finally Peyton Manning's year. Indy over New Orleans in the Super Bowl.

Well, considering that Dungy is another playoff loser like Marty- this should be an interesting game... GO Pats! I hope it will be a rematch of Superbowl XX (Pats versus Bears). :D
Still Crazy

Saints, because its about fucking time, though I love Chicago, still Saints.
Indianapolis, hopefully. But I am probably betting on the dark horses here. :bounce2: :bounce2:

I really.....really.....really hope Peyton Manning/Harrison & Dungy get rings...
But every team I wanted to win with my football heart(instead of brain) lost last weekend except for the Colts(luckily)....so I will not pick anyone again....If I pick them, they may lose..
I just really want them to win it all.
