Ok I have no idea what book this is, the author, the title, anything except what happens...
A kid is a slave, him and his mom... And their master raises dragons. It's in a desert like place and so he steals a dragon and raises it in a oasis. Then he fights it... He talks a lot about the colour and how it is one of the strongest... Then I can't remember any more. It's been driving me CRAZY.
