We've got a thin layer of snow across our cars outside. It's a little early for this shit, but at least I'm in southern WI. Up north they're expecting up to 2 feet.

It is cold and very windy here in the Chicago area. We are expecting snow flurries tomorrow morning. Good time to stop smoking when it gets to cold to stand outside.

Yeah. That's worked just great for the last 14 years. Try another one.

It's been a cool, rainy day in Southern Ontario, and will continue to be so tommorrow.

Whattaya gonna do. Everyone talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it. :ohwell:

I actually like this weather. I'm an autumn person, not a summer guy.

I like autumn, too, but windy and rainy and hovering around 40 I could do without. I like 50-60s, partly sunny, very little breeze. I actually like it around 40 as well, when the air is crisp and clean, and you can just smell leaves burning and the frost in the air.

Cold in the mornings, hot in the afternoons. Like... uggg....

Winter till 10:30, summer from 1:00 till 7:00.

I hate this time of year.

It's currently 11 and Foggy.

Celcius. I'm Canadian. So it's still above freezing, quite so.

Then you are warmer than we are. :( I just had to turn the heat on this morning for the first time since spring. Our house was 62 where the baby sleeps, and in the 50s in our bedroom. Brrr.

I love fall too. It is my fav out of all the season's. I love the leaves falling and to smell them burning. I wish we had a backyard and I would have weinie roasts. It is snowing here this morning. My car is covered. I call my mom to tell her. They told me when I moved to this area that the winters are totally different then what I am used to.

Haven't had any accumulation up here in GB, but it's below freezing and the wind is whipping out of the west at 25 mph. I'm sure there's a wind chill factor in the teens.

Had to pull out the gloves and wool hat this morning.

It's been cloudy and cold the past couple of days, and today it's still chilly, but not a cloud in sight. Nice and sunny! Worried about my trip to NYC this weekend though, hopefully all that rain will be gone...

I was talking about the UP/Eagle River area. It was all over the news last night that they were expecting up to 2 feet. :dunno: You're only about 2 1/2 hrs north of me, though, so I should think your weather would be pretty close to mine. Fortunately, I'm a stay at home mom, so I don't even have to step outside unless I feel like it (cigarette).

Here in the ATL, it's been cool days and colder nights. I LOVE IT.
I wish the weather could stay like this much longer than it does.

And the fall foliage is beginning to sparkle and spot with bright colors
here and there. Can't wait till all is in full bloom with color.

Then again, the fall colors in the south is no match, nor ever will be,
to the colors in the Northeastern US. It's like God's fireworks show up there.

(sigh)

I miss New York. :(

I wore shorts and a tshirt outside in SF yesterday, and I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow. Today I'm at work, so unfortunately I need to wear full pants in what's probably going to be high 70 degree weather, if not the low 80's. :D

Indian summers in SF, you can set your clock by them now thanks to global warming.

Things are about the same a little eastward here in Sac. Shorts are the ticket in the afternoons. Little chilly in the nighttime.

Some snow has fallen just up the hill in the Sierra Nevada Mtns, especially around Lake Tahoe, but I don't think anything has stuck. Before too long the ski areas will be building their base with snowmaking and the real stuff will start falling in volume. Ski season can't come soon enough.

Fall is my favorite, too, but 40F and snowing is not what I call fall! It's going to be very chilly for the Tigers-As game tomorrow night. With an 8 pm start, I'll bet the wind chill will be below freezing.

It's been over 80 all week. Mid-60s in the AM, low 60s at night. We're supposed to see 70 degree weather starting this weekend.

Lovely South Carolina!

I'm a few hours north of you. We are supposed to get some real fall weather here tomorrow... high of about 60. Yeah!! I have an interview for a different job within my company tomorrow, so I get to wear my boots and a skirt. Whoo hoo!! I love fall clothes.

Eeeeep!!!! I would never wear white shoes, especially boots, after Labor day or before Memorial Day. What on earth would Miss Manners say?
