I'm one of those who have migrated here from Another Place. Much of our activity is in 23.5 degrees -- and that's where, without realising there is a dedicated Books section of this message board, I put a long review I'd written, to continue and spawn new discussion of it. Here's the link: http://messageboard.cinescape.com/cinescape/forums/showthread.php?t=2469 and here's the Intro blurb...

Don't Expect Much from The Expected One
The Expected One, Kathleen McGowan, Simon & Schuster

Should we have expected more from The Expected One? A disappointed reviewer thinks so. And a bit more attention to getting the facts right wouldn't have hurt, he says. But when Mary Magdalene is twice married with three kids, and even Pontius Pilate calls Jesus by his childhood nickname, why let the facts get in the way of a good story? Except it isn't even that...
I don't know whether it's better to keep the discussion in that thread or here, but I thought I'd put down a marker anyway. If you've read the novel, or if you know anything about the background to it (the offspring of Mary Magdalene -- oh, and some guy or other...), please comment!

And Hi, everyone.
