I thought it was time for a poll. It has been a while.
So, I thought I would do one on Ice Cream.
My favorite is Chocolate. Any kind of Chocolate ice cream. My favorite indulgence this year is to make some brownies. Then serve ice cream on top of them. mmmm. My ass shows for it too. :smirk:

Maple and Walnut sounds DELISH. I'm gonna have to say either Birthday Cake or Snow Cream by Mayfield's. If it isn't Mayfield's I can't consider it ice cream.

There used to be a flavor @ Baskin & Robbin's called Daiquiri Ice that I would crave. Now that they don't make it anymore, I've chosen to love Cookies 'n' Cream.

My favorite ice cream poll is any ice cream poll that involves the creamy goodness of ice cream!
Oh, and any flavor rocks at Mitchell's, Daffy. I've only tried a couple but they must all rock if the place has a line out the door in January.

Just about anything at our local family run ice cream place. Like Daf's and Sick's fav place, it has capacity crowds in the middle of winter as well.
One thing neat about this place, their recipes change in sweetness ever so slightly depending on the season. In summer, when you mostly want really cold but not sickening sweet, the sweetener is toned down a slight amount so it is more refreshing, then in fall/winter it goes back to full tilt richness. Most people don't even notice the change.
Best product: Rita's Strawberry Cake. Whatever ice cream you want, but purists go vanilla. The bottom of the glass gets strawberries in strawberry sauce, then goes in several scoops of ice cream, then a big hunk of shortcake, more strawberries and sauce, then three huge scoops of ice cream that depend on sticking to each other to not drop right off the top of this thing, then more strawberries and sauce, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry. This is considered a "2+" treat, as it usually takes at least two people to finish it. It was the only thing my wife craved when she was pregnant with our daughter.

I can't pick just one.
I love chocolate chip cookie dough, especially Breyer's, their vanilla is flavorful without being too rich.
A local place has a key lime pie frozen yogurt which is wonderful, little chunks of graham cracker crust mixed in with real tangy lime rind.
Mint chocolate chip is good sometimes--there's a place north of my folks' home town which makes it with real toll-house chips.
And chocolate with anything is always a good choice.

Too basic. My favorite is Chocolate Cake Batter from a local ice cream shop here. Of course, this is the same ice cream place where you can get adult ice cream treats, such as alcoholic ice cream floats (Guiness floats, White Russian floats) and shakes. Gotta love college towns!

I voted vanilla, but with the flecks of vanilla bean in it. Yum!
Otherwise, I'd love me 3 scoops of tart Italian ice. Mmmm...

rocky road . . .extra dark chocalte flecks in it . . . top of with whip cream and cherries . . . .
I eat ice cream probably 3 times a week. I rotate between Rocky Road (with chocolate covered almonds), cherry chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, and cookies and cream. When I go out for shakes, I get cookie dough and oreos. MMmmmm. ~drool~
