Got the Fellowship complete recordings CD for Christmas. It is AMAZING. My favorite track is The Passing of The Elves, otherwise known as A Elbereth.

Lorien's Shire Mural is done. Her nursery looks just perfect with it now! Now, if I could only get her to nap in her crib, we'd be getting somewhere...

I'm on a couple other message boards that are powered by V-Bulletin, but I really have only one issue with the software: When you click on "New Posts" it pulls up ALL the new poasts, across the board, not just in that particular forum.

I also got the Fellowship Complete Recordings for Christmas...of course that really means I took $60 I got in Christmas money and bought it in early January, but it still counts.

I think my favorite track is Flaming Red Hair. It's just nice to hear the party music without any sound effects interfering with it. :D

I bought the complete Fellowship recordings as sort of Christmas present for myself; my parents gave me some money for Christmas, and there was no problem to decide what I'll get with it. I also happened to find the Annotated Hobbit. :cool:

LOL - is she like my older one, who for a long time only agreed to take a nap on my lap or in a moving baby carriage? :D At that time, I definitely read a lot, and took long walks.

My only beef with the new board is that it logs you out if you're off it for too long. I wrote a response somewhere and had to rewrite it all.

Other than that, no problem.

I believe that's the issue here. My firefox never logs me out as long as I don't go to the Potter community(in which case it logs me out).

But there is some IE session/cookie issue with vBulletin software boards. Trying to find the solution, Space.

Probably an IE thing. It doesn't happen all that often, so don't sweat it too much.

I should learn to post faster anyway. :o

I'm down with it. But I miss our old stuff. Definitely the end of an era, as was the ending of Corona.

The different colour themes are what I'm also missing. The default blue-and-white is nice, but a bit impersonal.

And, I think that on a vB board, smilies can easily be customised - the site could do with a couple more.

Not sure when we can get colors back. I had been holding off on mentioning it in mod hell since there is enough craziness in getting the software changed over and started up. Perhaps things have calmed down enough now though...

A feature that I miss is the ability to click "all" of a thread and scroll up or down through the entirety of it....instead of clicking page by page. The rest is very nice.

Thanks Aragowyn. Monic deserves all the praise. I just brought up the topic in mod hell, but she ran with it, creating color schemes yet again. :D
