View Full Version : Rules?
Just wondering what the rules were here. I am a moderator on another forum, and was wondering if the same rules applied. Like, is double posting frowned upon? And what is your guys policy on swearing. I like to be expletive at certain times, but I just want to know the ground rules before I say something stupid (I'm good at that on occasion.)

I haven't drafted the new rules since the changeover from our old UBB boards, Rael, but the basics apply.
No trolling, no spamming, no flame attacks....you know the drill.
Listening to everyone complain about the censors, I've taken alot of curse words off the censor list in the past week but that doesn't mean that curse words can be used just to be used. I understand for the most part that we're all adults here so cursing will happen but not to excess and certainly not in a flaming sort of manner. Also, please be considerate on where the curse words take place....ie, like Potter forum or forums where kids can read more often then not.
For rules on curse words, spoilers and everything else, if a forum has a moderator assigned to that forum in question, please read the rules of their forum set in place by them.
I'll get around to drafting a universal set of rules for the site in general and put it on our FAQ when I have some more time.
Once again, welcome Rael and everyone else....Enjoy the ride with the rest of us crazies. :D
Okay, thanls. I don't go curse crazy, but sometimes it adds a little more to what your trying to say otherwise. And I definatly won't use them in a forum mostly for kids - I'm good at the common sense thing.
Thanks for replying so quick. I think I'm gonna like it here.

I guess I need to draft some rules soon since we now have our first ban due to some good inside tips.
Dr. Hammerid was spamming money schemes through the pm box and has now been banned for this spam. He will be allowed back at 2-10-08 at 11:00 PM.
No Spammmmminnnnngggg...

So I guess I won't be able to introduce MY wonderful money scheme......I mean opportunity to my fellow members huh?
:(
Good thing I checked.
I have a money scheme too. You guys give me money. I tell you how great money schemes are, and then you go get money from other people just like I did originally. Oh, you also give me that money too. The more I get, the more you will get . . . eventually. :D
Seriously though. I have a bank account in Kenya with $7,000,000 in it, but I can't access it because I need to pay the banking fees of $2,400. Until that is paid, the $7M will just sit there. If someone could front the $2,400, I'll split the $7M 50%/50%. You see, I'm actually the son of the former leader of Kenya who was deposed years ago . . . :D
