So who's your favorite character? Pick anyone from any series or movie, hero or villain.

I think I'm gonna hafta go with....Q. He's just so much fun!

Personally, I prefer Trekkie. Trekker sounds too serious for my tastes. :D

Q was good, but they watered him down with the Voyager stuff. :(

The punk on the bus in The Voyage Home stands out. :D

I'll go with Wesley Crusher.

HAHA! Just kidding!

I got to go with Scotty! :)

Once, someone told me that "Trekker" was for the hard core fans of TOS. "Trekkie" was for the fans that joined after. Anyway, one way or another, I'm a Trekkie. :D

Favorite main character: Riker
Favorite guess character: Kaylar

Not only is that guy still living in his parent's basement, he's ignorant too. "Trekkie" was the original term for TOS fans. In line with "hippie". It was a 60s thing.

McCoy. Able to have fun and be pissed off, all at the same time. Strong dose of humanity and a hero in his own sense. Grumpy, grumbly, bad attitude, but the first guy you go to for sensible advice.

Enjoys eating, drinking and probably smoking. Keeps plenty of booze in sickbay.

He wasn't a regular regular, but Garak on DS9 was my favorite. Any time he got involved, it was just such fun.

I loved Q. They all just kicked so much butt.

Kirk also stands out for me because he was first. And not bald. Or a woman. And Canadian.

I put Trekker as meaning "one who has been in Star Trek."

Constable Odo from DS9 was probably the most interesting character ever in any of the Star Trek incarnations.

McCoy....
Enjoys eating, drinking and probably smoking. Keeps plenty of booze in sickbay.

Not to mention medicinal marijuana, no doubt. :Smirk:

My favourite is also Scotty. A great problem solver and a technical genius. Everything I am not. :headscratch:

I'd say Scotty would give him a run for his money for that title...

Scotty was Canadian, too. A veteran of the Normandy landing.

I had two. Worf and Wayoun.

BTW... What is this thread doing in the BSG forum?

This forum used to be the Sci Fi channel forum specifically. There was a Star Trek forum that I used to moderate too. The admin decided to throw the Star Trek forum away because of no new projects on the horizon at the time combined with the cancellation of "Enterprise". He moved the posts in that forum here.

Then, he renamed this forum to "Battlestar Galactica" specifically. The original post was written a year and a half ago in the Star Trek forum, and then it got bumped recently.

Now that there's a new movie in the works (and hopefully a restarted franchise), shouldn't there be a separate Star Trek forum again?

A lot of the characters in the Star Trek universe are memorable...Having to pick just one would be hard...But I would probably go with either Data or Picard...:anismirk:

I think I'd have to say that Picard is my favorite.
