You guys are a bunch of whiners. Sorry, I'm not at a work computer that I can ruin without guilt. So sue me for wanting to be careful with the one thing that keeps me sane.

It's not a scam, it is legit. It's been worked on for quite a bit.

The main site people will have to reregister for the main site, we're going from Ciners to Maniacs. The boards link will still come here. Mania is letting you users see it first.

Except the e-mail said "We have moved over everyone’s usernames and passwords so you should be able to login easily and begin filling out your profile, etc etc." So why should I have to register? I only visit the forums, anyway.

Edit: Yes, they have transferred all the main site ppl over because my current one from the current main site still works too. No need to reregister those either.

Well, I know around two months ago, alot of people lost their login at the main site, including me sickness. Have you logged in over at the main site in the past month and a half? If not, it may have been gone since then.

All accounts from the boards aren't going anywhere, however some people will have to make a new account for the new main site if they wish to blog, pm over there, bang, post comments..(all new features for the main site).

Hmmmm.... I can't even tell you what the main site looks like anymore. I found that I enjoy movies a lot more if I don't know anything going in rather than everything.

There's plenty of Log in prompts, Kaeos. Like one on the top right. The same location as the login prompt for these boards, myspace log in prompts, Youtube login prompts.

Bangs are voting on particular blogs, etc.

Once you log in, you can put videos up, images up, blogs up, comments up...

It's not that hard to figure out.

Sorry homey, nothin personal. I just got really frustrated. i swear to god i didn't see a single log in / sign in / register here box on the whole damn site.

Words of Warning for everyone in regards to the new site:

1. Jakester has already banned himself from posting comments on the site for reasons you can guess why. Jakester, next time read your pm box here and the pm I sent you before going over there and posting in your "style", dude. . Since Mania and the owner has made the new site more interactive and allowed our Maniacs more capabilities, more restraint is required.

Posting video clips from sites like YouTube as well as post image files, blogs,reviews, video game cheats...all of these. In turn, there will be some level of moderation to protect from spammers, trolls, and people who don't know the copyright laws. That goes also towards innappriorate material which can be flagged in the same manner as Myspace pages, Youtube pages, etc... . Just like any other website, the people of Mania wish to look after the rules of civility towards all ages..If something is adult in nature, there is a "Adult only" box in your User Panel on that site.

2. Capabilities: Once Logged in as your Maniac Login Name, you will be able to post your blogs, favorite images, videogame cheats,video files, movie reviews, etc. Please keep in mind that some material isn't allowed on the site servers including porn, obscene amounts of swearing, and copyright materials. The new interactive features are there for you so everyone can share your viewpoints and favorite media with everyone who comes to the site but there will be no abusing of those privileges allowed.

3. Our boards will be moving to that url Monday. In other words, the url for our current boards will change alittle. The boards will remain safe and we are not having to start over. Just letting you all know that the url will be changing when the new site goes public. Don't be surprised if the current url for our boards doesn't work.

4.Our databases will be joined with the main site. Any new user registrations there will also show up here and vice versa.Cross traffic goes back and forth in these new user registrations. Banned people from there will be banned people here under that same philosphy. Jakester, do you got that, bro?

LOL They've set up a moderation que before uploading certain things onto the site to control for spammers and porn idiots so it's going to be alittle safe not for Jake to do something too nutty.

I'm just warning him and anyone else...once our databases join...Our registrations will be one(their new registrations will also be good for our boards) but our "banned" people will be one too. That goes both ways.

Bahh, I'm having fun myself already. Just uploaded trailers from The Thing and the original Omen from Youtube onto my profile. Two very sweet horror movies. :D

No no, ODJ, you misunderstood me. If you look at your blog, you can ban an individual from making comments ON YOUR OWN BLOG. I posted a comment ON MY OWN BLOG, and it gave me the option to ban myself from making additional comments. I did so. It was funny.
