At this stage of the game, all the little tidbits of what's coming out, I haven't a clue what to expect, or what to think. The fact that they are shooting action scenes, and still trying to shape a story and cast around them... doesnt bode well. Then again, maybe they have the story more complete and polished than we know. Hard to say. :dunno:

My guess is the story is in better shape than the cast. I think that Purvis & Wade's script seemed less and less acceptable the more time went by, and the script will be very largely the work of Paul Haggis. A complete rewrite instead of a "polish." That's for the good; I don't think any of us really love P&W.

From the leaks and such, it does seem like the cast is the problem.

Y'know, I saw Paul Haggis a few times when I was at the Toronto Film Festival last September. Had I known at the time he was working on Casino Royale I would have loved to pick his brain. Oh well.

If his hair is going to be that dark, I find him much more acceptable. A frosted Bond just doesn't cut it. :smirk:
