Why does Tony Kornheiser wave a Canadian Flag at the end of each episode of Pardon the Interruption? He's been doing it for the past 2 weeks or so...

He does odd things at the end of every PTI and when he starts doing it, he does it consecutively for weeks or months. I know he waved that PTI face prop up for a good year straight it seemed..

I missed a few PTI's last week so I'm not sure why he started doing it, he must have explained it then.

Not that Hockey is strictly a canadian sport(american teams and all) but did the season of hockey start two or three weeks back?That could be it...What other sporting events is going on in Canada right now, Meaty.

Well, Seal Season starts soon...and the CFL was having its annual love-in, The Grey Cup...but other than that, I see no reason for it, and he's STILL doing it...
