Apparently one of the senators from Hawaii asked the actor who plays Mr. Eko to lead the Senate Prayer Breakfast. (And just a few days ago, it was Bono.) Apparently the actor is a devout Buddhist, and the Senator knew about this. Full story is on Yahoo. I forgot to cut and paste the link to the story because I'm a bad, bad person.

Here's the link to the Yahoo news article (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060202/ap_on_en_tv/people_akinnuoye_agbaje). I had no idea AAA is a buddhist. Though he does do a real good zen-like aura on the show!

In other AAA news, here'sa blurb written by Kristin of E!Online (http://www.eonline.com/Gossip/Kristin/Archive2006/060127b.html), with a video clip of a short interview with him.

You're so good to us, Aragowyn. Did anyone catch the Lost Super Bowl commercial yesterday? It was pretty silly. But being as I never drink any more and I treated myself to one beer yesterday, I laughed my patootie off.

Basically it was footage cleverly cut with Robert Palmer's old video to Addicted to Love, with the lyrics changed to Might as well face it, you're addicted to Lost.

I thought it was clever, but since the venerable Mr. Palmer has passed on, It kind of bothered me. I presume that its use was cleared by his estate, but it was still ... bothersome.
