I've been trying to get some help for my account on the main site for several days now. Even the e-mail link for the webmaster doesn't work. Here's what I sent;

Dear Sir or Ma'am,

First things first... If you don't have anything to do with the automated registration for this site, please forward this e-mail to someone who does.

Don't worry I'll wait... dum tee dum doddle dee...

Finished?

Okay...

I have just spent the most annoying two days trying to register for this site. I was a loyal daily reader of Cinemania and was a bit PO'd that my log-in for that site didn't work. Oh well, i said, new site... I'll sign-up again.

I made a mistake on the sign-on page and the page reset... what I didn't notice was that the e-mail address had reset as well and so I filled it in wrong. Instead of sending my confirmation e-mail to "xxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com" it sent it to "xxxxxxx@yahoo.com" where it will either laguish in electronic hell or some other geek will use it to activate my account.

Of course I immediately noticed the error and tried to re-sign but your software is reserving that username (barsoom)for ME! and won't let me sign on as a new account.

So then I went to the help and tried to send an e-mail to you... lo and behold... my e-mail was rejected because I don't have an account!!! Oh boy...

Just imagine yourself in my position... feel the rage building inside you? Are your muscles bulging? Has your skin taken on a slight greenish pallor? Do you feel like Bill Bixby just before the director calls "cut" and they get Lou Feringno from his trailer?

Your site has a lot of work to do to become "user-friendly" and I hope you succeed. But in the meantime I would appreciate some help.

If you can't help me then please let me know so I can delete your site from my favourites as I don't have the personality to deal with fools on a day to day basis (although if you are even remotely intelligent you have probably already surmised this salent fact).

Hope to hear from you soon. (Because I have this [possibly unresonable] fear that as soon as I click on "send", I'm going to get a reply saying "unable to deliever because [insert lame excuse here]" and then I'm just going to go POSTAL!)

Thanks In Advance,
Gordy Howe

Of course this e-mail bounced... Instead of going postal... I've decided to post here and then go for a nice calming walk. I figure that it'll only take 30 or 40 miles before I've calmed down.

If you see me on the main site it'll be with the username "pissedoff", but I'll warn you now... I probably won't.

Your complaint has been read and will be looked into as far as registration issues are concerned. Thanks for the note.
