Here's the basics of the Video Clip function:
Uploading Mania Video Clips
The new Video feature for Maniacs can be added by going into your "My Profile" folder. Click on the "Video" tab(between Images and Fiction). Once you click on the Video tab, click on "Add Entry".
When the new page loads, you will see the following text:
To post a video, find a video that either you posted directly or another user posted on www.YouTube.com.
Once you have found the video or videos you want, copy the USERNAME of the individual that posted the video(s) on YouTube.
Paste (or manually enter) the username into the text field next to "YouTube User:", then click on "Show Videos for User".
Choose the video(s) you'd like to include on your Maniac Video page, make sure to check the Category it should be included in, and then click on the "Add Checked Video" button. You are now a video playing Maniac!
There will be a box below that labeled "Youtube User". Whatever videoclip you decide to use, just type in that originator's youtube name(exact spelling) and click "Show Videos for user".
A history of Youtube clips will come up for that user in question. Click on the box next to the genre videoclip you have in mind and hit submit.
The videoclip will then be uploaded onto the main site.
