...you need go out and run a few errands looking like you just got up and you run into 3 different people that you haven't seen in ages?!? It happened to me today.
It had been a lazy Sunday morning. I jumped in the shower, got out and dressed in sweats and running shoes, no make up, glasses on. We were leaving Barnes & Noble and I ran into a flamboyant ex-client of mine from my wireless sales days. Not too big of a deal. Then we are crossing the parking lot and see a former neighbor who is still dressed to the nines from church. After that we are off to the grocery store. Made it through the produce section OK, but on the 2nd aisle, I literally bump into a guy I went to college with. Luckily, neither of us were hurt. We took a few minutes to catch up, but by then I was getting paranoid. How many more people were lurking to catch me looking my worst?
My daughter, at 13, thought it was hilarious that all these people were seeing me look so bad and told me that I really shouldn't leave the house without make up anymore.
*sigh* I really hate it when this hapens.
