Driving home on a dark, rainy day, I heard this very dark, sad news. His incredible talent will be greatly missed.

Giants like this only come along once in a lifetime. I'm glad to have been around long enough to experience at least some of his genius first run.

Some of the best movies in Hollywood came from a man who made them his own way and didn't apologize to anyone. There's definitely a void in Hollywood that will be hard, if not impossible, to fill. RIP Robert. :(

I didn't even know this until today, but he's from Kansas City and he went to the University of Missouri in Columbia, where I graduated from and still live. They'd better name a freaking theater after him on campus. :(
