OK, this woman they got for the new companion, Freema Agyeman, was the actress who got taken over by the Cybermen in the Cybermen vs Daleks episode.
Are they going to make her the same person or make her as if she is new and is NOT the one that got messed up by the Cybermen??
Come on you Englishders... I KNOW yer on this board and you get it all before we Colonists do. Whots the rub, old man?

IMDB doesnt even list Freema Agyeman as a player in the new season of DR Who. her character name was Adeola Oshodi and it was so brief that I completely missed her cameo, and I'm betting most people missed it also, and wouldnt make the connection if she jumped on board as a regular.
I was under the assumtion that the woman shown in the Tardis wearing the wedding dress would replace Rose Tyler as the new Companion. apparantly I was wrong?

Yes, you are wrong.
She is only in the 2 hour Christmas special that takes up right at the end of the last episode for Rose. She is a Brit Comedienne named Catherine Tate. At the end of the episode she...
Refuses to join the Doctor on his voyages, saying she'd rather go back home.
Anyway, the new companion is the one I am curious about.

I don't personally know, but I think I know a man who does. And he's Welsh, so he should know.
(The last series was mainly shot in Cardiff, Wales, you see. He even went along and watched some of the shooting. Jolly good show, what?)

Yeah he told me (in English :) ) that the two characters are separate. She also appeared in Hollyoaks, I gather.
