I got a big problem...

is Cinescape just an online Magazine now??? I havn't recieved an issue in the mail for a year now yet I have and paid for a current subscriptions (Verified with the online account status lookup).

..plus all the phone numbers to call are disconnected and email address posted are bad....

..I noticed that I don't see their magazines in major bookstores anymore

.. If this is incorrect can someone give me an active working number to call to get my subscription working again...

PLEASE HELP

Is there a service number to call to get my subscription working again. I havnt recieved the magazine in months but have a print-out from the website saying I have 27 issues left in my subscriptions.

All the phone numbers and emails from the main website are either not active or no one answers the 1-800-342-3592 service number.

Haven't we done this before? Oh...not here we haven't. Right.

Erm...no one seems to know, especially not those running the magazine. They don't seem to be here, either. We're on autopilot, baby.

I don't think lordc got the joke there, ID.

I would think it's safe to say there is no longer a print version of Cinescape. When you haven't gotten a magazine in over 18mths, kiss your subscription goodbye. :dunno:

then how comes they keep showing a picture of new issues in the left corner, and the sign up for a new subscription stills works....

Umm....just looked at the site. No pic of any issues are there, and no info about subscriptions.

:dunno:

Because if people are dumb enough to pay them money for nothing, then they will willingly accept it. :D

Well, then you came to the wrong place.

I suggest you try their email address on the Cinescape homepage.

lordcaesar, from what I understand Cinescape the magazine has basically choked and died. I spent the past 30 mins looking through the old message boards for a topic that covered this previously.

From my understanding (and if anyone feels like adding insight, please do) they basically shut down and screwed everyone out of their money.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news.

(And when did I become the voice of reasonable posting? Geez)

Agreed. Here's a link (http://64.34.170.134/Cinescape/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB142&Number=156145&Forum=All_Forums&Words=cinescape%20magazine&Match=And&Searchpage=2&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=156142&Search=true#Post156145) to a posting in August of 04 stating a subscriber hadn't received a magazine in 2 months.

Every 6mths or so, someone would drop by and ask the same questions you are asking. We were just having a bit of fun with you. :)

Must be the booze is wearing off.

Better fill up while it's early man.

You forgot to mention have their posts slip into messageboard oblivion (known as the "delete thread" function) because noone at Cinescape wanted to take any responsibility or answer any questions.

There probably isn't a chance they'll get your subscription working again.

Though I hear they're bringing back the camaro. Did anyone else hear about that?

This is just going out to anyone that comes around for a particular question in regards to the print aspect of Cinescape. Not to the people who already know the obvious here.

The forum where you originally posed this question is called "Cinescape Online Help".

The description under said above title clearly states that forum is for us to help those here dealing with "online" issues in regards to the forums and look of the boards.

The reason that "print" questions do not go here at these forums is because quite frankly, we do not have the answers to those questions. No one operating this board is in the "loop" in regards to the future of any print aspect of Cinescape.I understand any frustration that occurs with that aspect of Cinescape. I was also a subscriber. I've been a subscriber since issue #2 back in the Hockensmith days. Like I said above, however, the individuals running these forums do not know anything about the former magazine aspect. No answers will be given from any forum leaders because we have no answers to give..

Once again....The forum for Cinescape Online Help is for the boards only. That goes towards all the other forums here as well..

Thank you and enjoy the boards.
