Hi! Anybody else excited about the Poseidon remake? This movie looks amazing! I was wondering when they were gonna make another ship wreck epic. :D I still watch Titanic every time it comes on! Has anyone heard about the new Titanic find? I work with History Channel and got to see a sneak peek of a new documentary that promises to be the most exciting Titanic discovery since the wreck was located in 1985. Should they even be still searching for the truth about Titanic almost 100 years later? :dunno:

Are you talking about epics about ship wrecks, or epics that sink at the box-office under the weight of their own suckiness?

Can you give us some idea what it could be?
I can think of a couple
1 They got a ROV down into the Bow of the ship and taped the Iceberg Damage.
2 They found the Crate that was carrying the 1912 Renault

I don't have to wait, I can tell you right now I HATE online shills who join forums just to push their crappy shows. I might have watched this before, but now I am purposely avoiding History Channel that night. :angry

And don't make me email R Lee Emrey about you! :romy:

I deleted the post with the link. I just wish spammers'd put a little more effort into it.

And since 'metalkat' mentioned "Poseidon" (not that that was what he was promoting), I think that that movie's got potential this summer. The teasers haven't done that much for me, but Wolfgang Petersen knows how to make an entertaining, commercial (if often dumb) movie.

True, but it has Lindsay Lohan in it.

His recent flick Troy was okay.. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad but it certainly beat the historic epic it was up against in Alexander. It seems like both directors were being pushed by studios to compete with those two movies so I think that could have contributed to the mess.

I didn't know Wolfgang was doing Poseidon though....I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Peterson return to his roots in the water....Bring on crazy submarine captains(Das Boot) who take risks and shoot at cruise liners while a storm approaches.

Lindsey Lohan.....yes but it also has...

Who can say no to the man Kurt Russell too. Mr. Thing....Mr. Big Time in Little China.....Mr. They Live. Heh, Mr. Escape from LA?Go ahead, Daforce

Hey, I read a report (I think it was Cinescape) that she was going to be in it.

There was a witty joke about her sinking a movie before it started.

Hmmm...witty joke.

Maybe I was wrong about seeing that blurb on Cinescape.

:D
