Just letting you nutballs know that I started the weekend box office report for Mania.com today.
Obviously, the focus will be towards genre related items along the way because that's the site focus but if you have any suggestions on what to talk about in the next report or what items to discuss with everyone..let me know.
Any feedback from everyone would be welcomed as far as focus(outside the numbers themselves) and what driving points to discuss about.
There will be other features as well soon but for now, it's the Box Office report I'm asking you maniacs about....
Later, buttheads.

Indians Jones and the Temple of Doom! :)

LOL Okay, talk about Indiana Jones somehow....Check.
I had an hours notice for this first article so I cringed when it got up and I noticed those two sentence structure mistakes. Oh well, it will be better next week. Plus, my box office chart is messed up in spacing alittle because of the MS Word transfer. Gotta fix that too. Grrrrr.

Two months of Box Office reports over there and not one feedback from any of you.
Either something is going right or you all are a bunch of lazy monkeys.

We're lazy monkeys.
Yeah. Probably the second one. It must be because our feelings are hurt from being called "nutballs". I've been suffering inside. :(

Frankly, I still don't like the layout of the main page, so I've stopped going to it.
I've kind of stopped posting here too because of the annoying Gorilla Nation ads that pop up on every single click of the mouse button.
I don't have the pop up problem here. Of course, my pop up security is so tight, I can't even post a link in here without granting my permission. I have problems over at abc.com. Every single page is monster.com. I don't even post there, but reading the message boards is getting pretty painful, so I may stop soon.

Monkeys. Check.
Gorilla Nation does bite the big one too. Their Circuity City ads have pissed me off for months now.

^^ still trying to figure out what soylent green is made out of.
Box office reports for sci fi movies from the 70s, that's what I want to see!
Yeah, ditto that. Tack the 80s on while you're at it! Hell, I would like to comment on your BO Report, but I haven't seen anything on it. I did think it was very insightful, though.

I might actually look at it if you put a link in here. I rarely go to the main site without someone directing me there first.

Speaking of ads, I hated that ad for Pelts. I have issues with nasty things being done to eyes, and that was just a frigging AD!

I hate Gorilla Nation ads too, Jake. What stinks is they pretty much put up what they want because all the main news sites use them. Same ads here, Comingsoon, Joblo etc and the same annoying ads everywhere I go. Bah to Gorilla. I had to put up my pop up blocker on my Firefox thanks to them.

Hah. Reaffirm my lazy monkey comment, why don't you Negs! :D

I will admit to being a lazy monkey. But those are good columns, DJ. About the last one, I'm curious how actresses' total box office would rank in that chart. I know Keira Knightley had over $900 mill worldwide in 2003 alone (Pirates 1, Bend It Like Beckham, Love Actually), and now she's got the $1 billion+ take of Pirates 2 to add to that.

That's a pretty damn good suggestion, Negs. I noticed some Diane Keaton bashing a few weeks back for her new movie Because I Said So. Perhaps a good talking point in the near future is the women box office leaders of all time. The trends on what choices the actresses pick for parts can be seen from previous hits & misses.

There you go, Negs. Your suggestion is in this week's box office report. :)
