Possible SPOILER: CR novel relationship to the movie?

Now I can't find the link, but I read a story that apparently the movie CR opens with Bond in the hospital.

I'm wondering; could they be experimenting with a flashback structure?

If you've read the novel, you know that SPOILER COMING SPOILER COMING SPOILER COMING...




Bond is tortured by LeChiffre after beating him at cards. He barely escapes with his life. It is during his post-torture hospitalization that he falls in love with Vesper, who had been an annoyance to him previously. Her visits keep him going.

I'm wondering if the movie might open with that hospitalization, and then play out as a flashback up to the torture.

Of course, this couldn't be the pre-titles sequence, which requires an adventure and a stunt. I wonder...

Of course, this couldn't be the pre-titles sequence, which requires an adventure and a stunt. I wonder... Maybe they are doing away with the pre-title sequence. Doing the whole thing as a flashback might work really well, and give more of a reason to show 'early Bond', even earlier than the beginning of the novel.
