Wow, there's some freaky sh!t going on in this show. Hybrid alien-humans--or are they clones? Some kind of conspiracy going on with the sheriff: "Did you think you could escape my justice?"
And my very favorite line from last night: "Zura ... that's a name you'll remember."
I really like how this show is including just enough tantalizing bits in each episode to keep our interest. It's not complicated with too many plot threads, everything seems connected, and the family drama is intertwined with the aliens (hybrids?) and their conspiracy. Everything is at a slow burn right now, but it seems like a big-ass war is brewing, so we have the potential for even more crazy stuff in the future.
All thanks to one of the Hardy Boys! How cool is that?:smirk:

Haven't seen last night's eppie yet, but damn, this show is great.
I heard buzz that it's gonna get axed in favour of "The Evidence." I'll be mondo pissed if it does. It's American Gothic with aliens, and I loved AG.

As much as I'm liking this show, it's gonna get axed. It has not been picked up for another season, and the ratings are no better then Threshold's was, which spells trouble. And latest article on it, in TV Guide, sounded very bleak.

Forgot to mention: erm, it's going on hiatus for six weeks.

It's at least back next week, and The Evidence doesn't premiere until Mar 22nd.
I watched Wed's episode, and wow. Just when you think that Underlay isn't a total s.o.b., you find out that he knows Zora (or however you spell it). *gulp*

I also have liked watching this show after Lost this year. It started with "Well, nothing else is on so I'll watch." and has turned into......"Good actors in this one and some intriguing storylines....I'll watch."
Too bad about the rumors of it being axed. I think it would do good if the higher ups would put some effort into advertising and giving it a chance to grow.

This is an extremely well made show.....but it moves way too slow for the general adhd viewing public.
It moves a hell of a lot faster than Lost. Besides, I was thinking they were giving too much away too soon, but if it's going to get axed, then I want to know everything. This and Grey's Anatomy are definitely my 2 favorite shows right now.

It moves a hell of a lot faster than Lost.
Yeah but Lost plods along with a thousand diffrent storylines. This one plods with 3- The sea creatures, the army, the clones or whateverthey are.

HOLY CRAP!!!
ABC can't cancel this show. It is AWESOME!
My boyfriend is anti-sci-fi, anti-fantasy, anti-possibly-improbable, and he is asbolutely HOOKED on this show, as am I. The ratings can't be that bad, can they? And to replace it with The Evidence-please. Estes was good on Silk Stalkings, but Jones- give me a break. The last time he was funny was in a 7up commercial.

That was a pretty sweet episode last night. You have crazy hybrid girl who seems to be actually pregnant with weird baby, and Mariel, who is not pregnant but has some weird kind of hybrid ovary. (Weird thought: do the male hybrids have super alien balls?) And Kira, we don't know if she was "taken" or not--the aliens seem to reject some people, don't they? (Like the Air Force pilot.) She was all bloody and didn't seem to be breathing.
Love the way this show is picking up the pace. I really hope they don't cancel it. I know it drops viewers after Lost, but it has a really tough slot, and according to one article I read, it was doing better than any other show had done in that slot for ABC. So far things don't look good, though. Pooey on ABC.
I don't think she was changed. One- she wasn't naked. Two- she had the marks on her from the tentacles(?), the same marks Jesse and Dave had.

Oh my, last night's episode was interesting--alien fetuses breaking out of dying mother's body? You can see why Mariel told "Daddy Tom" she wasn't planning to have any more children.
Good news about the show: it is returning in April, for an Alias-Lost-Invasion block on Wednesdays. Bad news: things don't look good for a second season. Still, at least it looks like we will get to see the full 22 episodes, so we won't be left hanging.

This show gets better and better. I'll be really annoyed if it doesn't come back for S2. It's easily as intriguing as Lost, and although the plot is a slow-burn, lately things have been moving faster than they ever have on Lost, and I'm digging it.
I thought I read at the abc message boards that it is getting picked up for a second season. About Alias.... I really wanted to watch it when it first came out, but I have always worked the nights it was on until this past summer. I could care less about Alias. In fact, I'll be missing the George Lopez/Freddie lead in. Who knew Brian Austin Green was hilarious??

From TVGuide.com:
On April 15, the Saturday before it returns with original episodes (in its Wednesday time slot as of April 19), ABC Family will air a 10-hour Invasion marathon starting at noon ET.
