View Full Version : Question About Spoilers on Past Episodes

Okay, so I was about to post something on the first episode of HEROES (GENESIS) since I just decided to rewatch it and found it quite interesting knowing what we know now 16 episodes deep. So are we allowed to post on it with spoilers from all the episodes that have already aired in the US (is it primarily for the UK crowd?) or is it just spoilery for THAT PARTICULAR EPISODE?

Anyway, an example would be that on episode 1, Peter mentioned to his mom that he had a precognition about Nathan's accident. He said that before he got the call he knew immediately that his brother was hurt. Of course, when we saw that episode, it was just something odd, almost a throwaway line since we didn't really know what the fuck he was talking about. Cut to the 10th episode (SIX MONTHS AGO) and we're thrust into that particular event, solidifying Peter's role as an empath. It also makes me giddy that the writers seem to know where they want to go with the story rather than haphazardly just piecing it together after the fact.

So, are past episodes open to discussion of what we've already seen or is discussion only for that episode and the episodes that came before that?

Well, if you posted things that happen to characters in future episodes of the thread title & date, you'd be spoiling it for the people who've only seen that episode and previous shows before that episode.

The reason those threads are created is for our overseas audience and those later in the future who start watching the series from buying the Dvd set or in syndication can comment as they go onward with each new episode...

Every show thread in the future will have the *Spoilers* warning just to tell future new users that we discuss the events of the show in that thread.

If it needs be, we can create a thread specifically for Character Speculation and knowledge and I will put up a *Spoilers to Episode 14,15, etc* in the title(continually editing it) as we go along.

.

Thanks for that clarification, which is what I needed. I wasn't really certain what it all entailed and I'm glad I made this random thread rather than try to do it in the first episode. I guess when I go back and rewatch another episode I'll simply post my post-observation on the current episode playing. :)
