It certainly seems like something is going to happen here the way the writers are weaving that storyline together lately.

That and of course a fight between Peter and Isaac or at least future "enemies".

So, would the writers kill off the good guy?

Is Peter even going to be a good guy in the long run? He was much darker in the last episode letting rage get the best of him "playing" with Isaac. His dreams/nightmares could be foreshadowing for a darker future.

Characters are getting blurred.

So here's the place to discuss whether Peter can defeat Sylar...or if he's even going to fight him in that upcoming epic battle. He might just join him or Sylar may mentally implode before the fight ever occurs.

You never know. Peter seems to be "too" powerful when it comes down to it. Peter may shape up to be the next big bad guy.

Still, tell me what you're thinking, fans.

I think Peter would win such a fight. We've been given a glimpse at the beginning of the show as to how things might turn out when "future" Hiro appeared before Peter on the subway and mentioned a scar. So it would seem likely (though not definite) that Peter would win in such a confrontation. Especially since Sylar can only use those abilities he has absorbed, while Peter can use any ability he has come in contact with. I also think it very likely that we will see a limitation to Peter by season's end.

Peter would kick ass. He was scary tough when he beat up Mr. Izaaaaaak.

Peter would win hands down. No discussion necessary. To damn obvious.

NEXT QUESTION!!

I think with the flight, healing, and invisibility, Peter would win. Other than that, Peter has all Sylar's powers. I'd like to see it from Sylar's point of view. Everytime he does something, Peter is either behind him or out of danger cause he just used Hiro's powers. Or his whole body is hurting him and finds a bunch of objects at his feet. Peter stopped time and threw crap at him.

Plus, Peter has Parkman's mind-reading ability (he needs only to remember how to access it), so he could anticipate anything Sylar does.

Peter would win hands down. Not only would he have all of sylar's powers(if he's near him he would absorb them) plus all the abilities he has absorbed that sylar doesn't have. of course anyhting is possible in a fight but i think the advantage is peters.

Peter will turn to the dark side and strike down his master Sylar, but not before kissing the princess cheerleader.... who just happens to be his niece. Now, if there's some form of a death star in a form of nuclear emitting mutant.... oh wait, never mind...

Seriously, if you are going to turn someone to the dark side. This is the right way to do it.

I think a lot of people are too quick to discount Sylar in a fight with Peter. After all, Sylar can use his abilities right away after he gets them, and Peter seems to need to practice. Plus, Slyar's now got a secret weapon in the form of super hearing. Once Peter gets that ability, it will take him a while to adjust to it and fight the headaches, leaving Sylar an opening for attack.

I think Sylar and Peter are going to have a lively discussion about pigeons and evolution and end the night with a drinking contest. Peter will end up drinking half a pint more but Sylar is apparently very comfortable with nudity when he's wasted.

I think that if it came to a knock 'em down, drag 'em out street fight, Sylar has just too many abilities at his disposal, and seeing as Peter can absorb every power that's thrown at him and has shown that he can recall those powers at will, I think that Sylar may find himself on the wrong end of a steel-toed sandwich...

Well, I think the option "no fight occurs" is off the table....

Peter will win because he automatically gains all of Sylar's powers and because he will manifest them at need. Hiro's would not be a good one to use in this fight and I can't imagine him accidentally pulling it out. That will definitely take some practice. Hiro is still in the early stages.

Sylar might be able to impale Claire long enough to get her head off, but he can't get Peter that way. Peter will counteract the telekinesis and make it impossible for Sylar to get his head off. The cut will begin to heal before it makes a complete circle.

Sylar will have to withdraw, and if he's quick on the uptake, he will avoid future confrontations with Peter until he gains more powers for tactical advantage.

I don't know, the healing does take some time and Sylar doesn't actually appear to be taking his time with it. I think Peter is gonna have to think and move fast to avoid the terrible fate his bangs met.

BTW, I read in TV Guide that one of the characters dies in the March 5 episode. Yet, the only confirmed death that ep was Simone. Although it looked like a couple of other characters will be meeting the pale rider, I don't think anyone actually died in that episode.

It was also mentioned that the dead character would have appearances beyond their death. Did they change their mind, or did I miss something?

Has Peter come in contact with the Hatian? If so, would he be able to use his power? Would it null his own? Maybe he could use that on Sylar.
