The next bit of news (which you can see over at MI6.co.uk) is that Halle Berry desperately wants to do another Bond movie and would be willing to do it for free.

Heh. She finally finished pissing away all that Oscar steam, huh? After she won, I remember her actively saying, "hey, I agreed to do a Bond movie and a contract is a contract, right?" Now she's begging to be in a Bond movie? They should laugh in her face.
