I am not usually one to promote websites for other people. But, here in Elgin there is a really nice library and they have a really cool website for kids. Cool Website (http://www.tumblebooks.com/library/asp/home_tumblebooks.asp)
I have my five year old go to this website to listen and view books on line for kids. You click on story books and there are a lot of books there. You click on "view online" and the book is read to you, it is animated and the lines are highlighted as they are read. I am sure there are other websites out there. But, this one is pretty cool.
