I'm liking the beatbox guy and the Jack Osbourne lookalike. They seem to be the most interesting out of the guy's pool. I was diggin' Sundance but he's turing into a big pussy, so....

Um, did Pickler get implants in her ass too?

Kelly Pickler looks and sounds like a young Tammy Wynette (God... how old am I?!?!?)

Those are my two favorite guys, too. I can't really decide about the girls, though. Malinda Doolittle is wonderful, but I don't think she can win.

I thought Melinda showed the best musicality last week, but I don't know that songs like "My Funny Valentine" will get her to the finals. She and LaKisha are my favorites from the girls; I also like Gina because she's different; the rest are virtually indistinguishable.

Yeah, Chris SLigh and Blake are cool on the guys side. Personally, while LaKisha and Meli9nda are awesome singers, they don't do a whole lot for me. Gina, on the other hand....

Um, who else is in this?

Overall, this season's contestants (especially the men) are fairly boring and unexciting to watch...

OK, so I'm watching tonight, and this reeks. I haven't seen anyone who I've liked, except for Melinda. I can't imagine trying to watch ten more weeks of this, particularly if that Sanjaya guy is going to keep advancing. Bleah.

Yeah, I was fairly surprised that none of the men even came close to matching most of the women. (Or maybe I shouldn't be, seeing as it was "Diana Ross" night.) This year seems the most unbalanced, in terms of talent level, that I've ever seen.

Regarding Sanjaya, the American public has a history of keeping in a subpar but cute, non-sexually threatening teenaged male way past his talent level. Remember red-haired John a couple of years ago? Made me cringe every time he sang, but he made it to the top 8. Sanjaya isn't a horrible singer, he's just so tentative and bland on stage that he's horrible to watch. I hope he's out soon.

As for my favorites: Melinda is the best musician, LaKisha has the best voice, and I like Gina just because she's different. I mean, Stephanie and Jordin are pretty good, but how many R&B divas can you have in the top 6? After a while they cancel each other out.
