Jack reinstated! Who votes he goes and lays another big can of whup-ass on girly-man hobbit Lyn? (He even has a girl's name!) Or maybe: Lyn really IS a girl, the latest mole inside CTU, and knew that she had to pose as a man in order to sleep with Chloe and get the real power!:smirk:

Bring the next episode on!

Boss called and let me know of a long list of overnight Preventive Maintenances and the first words out of my mouth were:

"Sure, I'll go......after 9:00 pm. "

24 is never missed.....neverrrrr......

My. Oh. My.

First of all, I looked at the "previously on 24" and I was right--the guy with Lynn's sister not only beat him up, he took his security card or some similarly official card, the camera focused right on it. So expect something to happen with that in the future.

So, they look like they've closed the investigation into a corner: the terrorists have escaped and no one has a lead on them. So for the next 16 hours, the terrorists attack and Jack has to sit back and watch it all? Save a few more little girls? Hmmm, I think not. So how will they get back on track? I predict another assassination attempt on Jack, back at CTU--maybe by the guy who stole Lynn's card--and they'll turn that witness to get more info.

Logan is so slippery and changeable, he's such a good "villain." He's not evil, he's just spineless and incompetent, which means you can't even count on him to do the wrong thing. Maybe he'll do the right thing, maybe he'll be convinced out of it. Or maybe not ... even Martha gave in to the coverup, the little chicken. Anyone else think Cummings's widow could be more than she seems? Or that Martha's assistant could blow things wide open? I think we'll be treated to Logan's downfall by the end of the day.

Anyway, I have no idea where they're going from here ... and I love that! Can't wait for next week.

Oh, Martha's assistant will squeal, no doubt about it.
I don't know that Cummings' wife is anything more than a grieving widow, but she might be an additional thorn in the administration's side.

I loved how they forced Logan to make a choice. He kept looking to people to tell him what to do, and no one would do it. Great.

Jack's just turning into one giant teddy bear in this season. He wanted to rescue that sex slave girl, he rescued a 12-year-old. Seems like he's more concerned with the collateral damage...but security guards are always an acceptable loss.

We're one third of the way through.
