As my birthday approaches, I was recently given all 4 Ultimate Edition Bond Box Sets. (along with Casino Royale). My Summer is pretty much planned out for me now.

2 questions for those who have seen these editions..

1) Is there anything in the extras that stands out from the rest?

2) My volume 2 box set did not have The Spy Who Loved Me booklet. 5 movies, only 4 booklets. Anyone else have this problem?

I don't have Ultimate, but here's (http://ultimatejamesbond.wordpress.com/2007/05/13/ultimate-edition-dvds/) a good review.

I have Special Edition, and some of the extras that I love are the Ian Fleming bio, the feature on stunts and stunt men, and the feature on music.

I've got all four volumes, but I don't know about the booklet issue. I'll check on it and get back to you.

I'd also be a bad one to ask about stand out special features since this is the first DVD set of the films I've owned and couldn't sort out the new features from the old. I've really enjoyed the audio commentaries I've listened to so far, and some of the interviews for OHMSS and DAF were pretty sweet.

I have all five booklets, including TSWLM.

Re: Extras... They're all great! They all have the extras that were in the previous editions, including the documentaries narrated by Patrick Macnee. There are only a few more extras since the last edition. One my my personal favorites is the bit on the shooting locations.
