I just now put my 1 1/2 year old Godson to bed....OMG, I do not see how some of you guys can do it. I mean, I have watched him before for a couple of hours but today my girlfriend and I asked to watch him for the whole day and keep him for the night....I am so damn tired.

We went to the park and ran around and had fun for about an hour and a half. Drove around, and came back to my apartment and played with some of my movie toys( Alien Queen, Micheal Myers doll which when you squeeze his stomach the theme comes on, Mini me doll and some star wars toys) and we all had fun. But before we put him to bed he wanted to cry off and on for the next two hours...

Basically, I give major props to all parents and take a minute and pat yourselfs on the back. I know some of you have 2-5 kids around here, so I have no clue how you do it.

And to think, I just had this kid for a day and many of you deal with kids on a day to day basis...But maybe it is different when it is you kid, if that is the case, it does not matter and all I have to say is...... GO YOU!!!:)

I think the best course of action is to just not do it.
:Smirk:

My friends have kids, though, some of them grown. They call me Uncle Bill, isn't that sweet. :D One of them already has a baby.  If I were their parent, I'd never let him hear the end of it for making me a grandparent.

Best thing about friends' kids, you can always hand them back when they get outa control. :Smirk:

Yeah. I miss that.

Ok, I love my kid, but none of you parents out there can honestly say you don't occasionally miss the days when you could give them back.

I wouldn't deny it! I just don't say it out load at home when my GF is home. Might cause a scene.

I told Outy the other day that I wanted a divorce so we can have the kids every other weekend.

I would not give them back. But, I sure would like some time away from them.

Or to the movies...There is nothing, I mean nothing, like a kid screaming and crying while you are watching a movie that you paid $6.50 to go and see.....

Oh yeah, love those PG-13 horror films where the guys are laughing the whole time and the girls shriek at like, every predictable "jump" moment. Never again!

What I love, is when I go see a rated R film and the parents bring there 6-11 year old with them....gotta love those parents!
