Anyone interested in the Open or golf in general.
I've only just picked up the game in the last couple of years. But, the Open is being played here at Oakmont, just outside of Pittsburgh. (About 30 min. from my house.)
Everyone says the course is a monster. This is true test of a golfer. Johnny Miller says that this course seperates the true golfers from players.

Yeah, I usually watch most of it. Didn't Mickleson blow a three stroke lead last year on the 18th hole on the last day?

It was the last hole and leading by a stroke, Mickelson chose to hit a driver and bounced it off the Hospitality tent. He then tried to go for the green instead of the safe shot. More disaster ensued and he ended up with a double bogey.

He didn't even make the final cut this year. I'm glad that dude won, he may never win again so I hope he enjoys this!

It was a pretty interesting sunday. If Tiger could have made a damn birdie putt, he would have walked away with this. Not real good to be 1st in greens hit and 54th in putting.

Yeah, you can't expect to win finishing the final round with one birdie.
And you can't go in as the leader and play like Mickelson, as Baddley did.

I was wondering when that would be said....
You know, to think about it. Even if Tiger would have forced a playoff situation. He still would have had to cede to Cabrerra.
I gather that his wife had to have went into labor on Sunday but, made no mention to him until after he finished 18.
