Blade Runner:The Final Cut

I just saw previews for this movie....And all it was saying was that this was the Final Cut and then says,"Coming this Fall."....Could they be re-releasing this into theatres??Or could it be just another copy of the film on DVD???

To my understanding, this is the edition that has long been waited for. Three versions of the film: the original, the director's cut, and the final cut using footage not seen in America plus, some new stuff.

One of the interesting thing is that some new replacement footage was recently re-shot with Joanna Cassidy (the scene where Deckard shoots her in the back and she plows through the windows).

I am so excited for this. I've been waiting for years!:D

Yeah, I am looking forward to this...I keep on trying to get my GF to watch it but she just says it is boring....That is fine though....But I will just wait untill this one comes and then make her watch it...

I'm all about this! Johanna Cassidy shot some new scenes (or reshot scenes, I'm unsure) for the Final Cut. This has been a long time in coming due to licensing issues as someone else held the rights to a bunch of the material for a long time, and I think Scott had trouble finding some of the original audio elements to make a 5.1 mix as well.
